e-Resources

Other electronic-based resources are listed here - mostly spreadsheets or powerpoints. Many of these are now accessed through the relevant interactive scheme of work.

  • Arithmetic: One Thousand - a totally addictive dice game that requires a bit of adding up, an understanding of likelihood and absolutely no dice
  • Arithmetic: A PowerPoint slideshow to aid a lesson on divisibility testing
  • Fractions: Using a spreadsheet to add fractions using the 'Battenburg' method. A great activity for pupils to try themselves.
  • Integers: This spreadsheet allows you to hide various elements of the answer or question in otherwise straightforward addition/subtraction problems including negative numbers
  • Multiplication: This spreadsheet shows how the grid method works, and has a built in puzzle feature!
  • Square numbers: An interesting square numbers puzzle. You might want to hand out this sheet to help.
