Kangaroo Maths ... putting the bounce back into teaching!

 Samples
Each 'Bring on the Maths' activity provides a problem with twelve possible solutions. Several of the solutions are correct and when these are clicked on, a letter appears. Incorrect solutions are indicated by a cross. When all the solutions have been found, the letters can be rearranged to find a Key Word (or a Mystery Mathematician in the case of C3, C4 and some GCSE). Variations on this theme include card-sort and matching pairs/triples.

The activities are designed to encourage participation, progression and achievement and should be teacher-driven for the most beneficial outcomes.

We've got a number of sample 'Bring on the Maths' activities for you to try. They will open in a new window, accessed by clicking on the links below. Please note that if your computer does not have the setting explained at the bottom of this page they may not appear correctly.
